My heart is SO full after last night's Tuesday's Together meet up in Downtown Fredericksburg! This month's meet up was a styled shoot organized by Hope from Hope Taylor Photography and Natalie from Natalie Jayne Photography! Both super talented photographers, creatives and leaders for our local Rising Tide Society meet ups!
If you have never heard of a styled shoot it is exactly what its name implies, it’s a shoot that’s styled! With styled shoots you’ll be spending a little more time to put together a theme, a certain look, props, details, outfits, etc. Styled shoots don’t have any particular rules other than they should be styled!.
Weather threw a wrench in the plan for an outdoor styled shoot but Hope and Natalie decided to change the location to inside last minute. Snapspace Studios located in Downtown Fredericksburg is seriously the cutest little place! Painted white brick walls, old fireplace mantels, original hardwood floors and old wood windows: YESSS!
With about 40+ photographers packed into one room the mingling came easy, especially when Brooke Waldroup introduced herself! We instantly clicked! Another photographer Anne Druiett and I met at a previous meet up so it was nice to see a familiar face! The three of us quickly became the "three musketeers" that evening! This is exactly the reason I am so happy to be apart of a community that supports one another and a place to gain true friendships!
If you are interested in coming to the next meet up contact me and let's chat about it! I can't wait to meet you!
PS - The Northern Neck will be having a meet up coming soon too! Our leader will be Sarah from Sarah Thrift Photography!
Special thank you to all the vendors that contributed to make last night possible! Y'all are AMAZING!
